I'll use this page to make updates and corrections to patterns I have on the market. Twinkle©: Some patterns may have gone out with an incomplete thread chart. Here's the correct chart for Twinkle©.
Angel of Freedom©: I forgot the flag pole. Use Weeks Dye Works 2219 'Whiskey'. Also, use Weeks Dye Works 1109 'Angel Hair' for the angel's hands. Thanks to Laura from Portland, OR! Finishing: I no longer use Machine Embroidery Adhesive spray. Even though it is acid-free, it is still a chemical that could possibly break down the fiber in your needlework over time. I now recommend using 1/16 inch nylon cording to use as a form to whip stitch a finished edge. All patterns made after January 2004 contain the following finishing instructions: "Place the cording under the background fabric next to the finished edge of the design. Fold the fabric over the cording and whip stitch around the design covering the background fabric and cording. I used 4 strands of floss with a large-eye embroidery needle. I like to mount my pieces on acid-free foam core board. After pinning the background fabric to the edges of the foam core, I stitched my design onto the board. Use small squares of felt to keep the stitches from popping through the board."
